I'm guessing that 99% of the population of those not going to Reading are bummed about returning to school in a week or two, depending on the school - a week if it's my school, two for every other school. In any case, no-one wants to go back. I don't want to for a lot of reasons. There's going to be a lot to think about next year. University applications, coursework for everything, Music stuff including grades and Trinity, keeping sane, seeing my friends, earning money when I have to focus on school and music college 6 days a week... Lots of stuff to do. Not cool at all. I guess I'll stay busy. Too busy if you ask me.
I went to King's College London today as well. It's such a great place, and it's in the middle of London and close to pretty much everything there. There are two problems though. The first one is that the accommodation isn't all that good there. It's very expensive for what it is, and Nottingham's rooms were much nicer. Also, because it's a city university and not a campus one, all of the residential halls are a commute away from the actual building. The second problem is that there is not a hope in hell that I will get the qualifications I need to get into it by the time I submit my UCAS application. Not a hope in HELL. 38 points, Grade 8 first study and Grade 5 piano. No, not happening. SORRY. But it's in such a nice place! Aghh, decisions!
I'm going to miss summer.
